Due to covid-19 we ask that members adhere to the following new guidelines:
- You MUST be a fully paid-up member of the club to be able to participate in our organised walks.
- You must NOT participate in a walk if you are feeling unwell for whatever reason.
- You must follow strict safe- distancing rules.
- You must carry your own hand-sanitiser, face mask and basic first aid kit ( eg plasters, medi-wipes, support bandage).
- You must not turn up for a walk unless you have pre-booked - currently there is a max limit of 15 people who can participate (at leaders discretion).
- If you show any symptoms within 14 days of a walk then please let the appropriate walk leader(s) know.
These rules are in addition to the following normal rules:-
Each person participates in club activities entirely at their own risk.
Neither the club, nor any of its members, can be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury, howsoever caused.
Members should strive to maximise their Mountain and Navigation skills to enable them to take responsibility for themselves in the hills. If you have a medical condition that may affect the walk, please tell the Walk Leader before starting.
Essentials: - Without these, the Leader may not allow you to join the walk - Walking Boots, Waterproof coat and leggings, Adequate clothing, Hats and Gloves, sufficient food and (hot) drinks.
